My husband and I made a DIY wood countertop out of an old door and a removable backsplash (you can read all about that in this post!). It ended up being really nice quality and I was able to install it in about an hour! I like that it is white which ties into the adjacent black and white flooring in the kid’s bathroom, and also that it has a little grey in it (the colour of dryer lint!) so it doesn’t look dirty all the time!
